Abstract

The review presents an innovative video text book designed to support Japanese language education, specifically in the field of mimetic words. By combining classical educational approaches with modern technological tools, this interactive textbook aims to actively engage learners in the educational process. Featuring animated visuals and illustrative examples for enhanced retention, the guide provides an integrated overview of research history, leading theories, recent discoveries, and, importantly, a review of the contributions of Bulgarian scholars to this specific linguistic field.
