Abstract

In 1910 the Bulgarian capital Sofia hosted the Second Preparatory Slavic Congress (Sabor). This is an important manifestation of the Neo-Slavic movement, which aims to promote the cultural and economic rapprochement of the Slavic peoples with a more distant perspective for political cooperation and integration on an equal footing. In parallel with the work of the congress, other all-Slavic events were organized, one of which was the book exhibition organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The article describes in detail the preparation, organization and content of the exhibition and its impact on cultural life in Bulgaria.
