ROUSSE LIBRARY: NORMATIVITY AND INSTITUTIONALITY OF READING

Abstract

This text presents the reading practices in one of the first established libraries in Bulgaria after the Liberation – the Rousse City Library (1888). The emphasis is placed on reviewing library statistics and regulations in this library institution. The purpose is to construct the image of the reader through library metrics.
