Abstract

The article aims to present the safest methods for the preservation and storage of written materials in the era of COVID-19 infection. The mechanism of action of disinfectants is clarified and it is emphasized that books and historical materials can be irreversibly damaged by the application of various disinfectants. The quarantine is indicated as the most useful, to be able to preserve the written collections in order to deploy them safely to the readers.
